No prior experience with Jana2006 or Jana2020 is required. However, attending the basic workshop organized before this event would be beneficial for those without any experience with Jana2020.

Topics

  • Theoretical introduction to experimental and data-processing methods for electron crystallography
  • Demonstration of data collection
  • Data processing of 3D ED data - preparation of input for Jana2020
  • Kinematical structure refinement from electron diffraction data
  • Structure refinement from 3D ED data using dynamical diffraction theory
  • Determination of absolute structure

Other Matters

Online participation is not possible.

Lunches and coffee breaks are paid by the Department of Structure Analysis.

The workshop is organized by the Department of Structure Analysis at the Institute of Physics, ECA Special Interest Groups on aperiodic crystals (SIG3), and ECA Special Interest Groups on electron crystallography (SIG4)
